Udhampur

Udhampur forms the district headquarters of Udhampur District. It is the fourth largest of the state Jammu and Kashmir. The place derives its name from Raja Udham Singh. It is the capital of the district. It acts as the transit point between Jammu and Srinagar while traveling by road. Also, it is the Northern Command headquarters of the Indian Army.

Kali Mata Mandir: This temple is dedicated to goddess Kali, a form of Maa Durga. It is situated at Rehambal which is 9 kilometers away from Udhampur.

Vaishno Devi: It is the shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. It is situated on a mountain Trikuta. Hordes of people visit this place every year. It is an important location for Hindus.

Shivkhori: Just like Vaishno Devi, it is a cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Mansar Lake: It is a lake located within the city of Udhampur.

Pancheri: It is a very beautiful hill station situated at about 40 kilometers from Udhampur. It has a very pleasant weather.
