 This beautiful well planned city was developed in the year 1976 mainly to ease of the main Mumbai from heavy population. Proudly called the ‘no-slum’ city it lures the visitors with its amazing spectacles. It is connected to main Mumbai by Airoli and Vashi bridges.

 Sagar Vihar Garden located near the creek provides feast to one’s senses with its exciting collection of colourful flora. Amritandamayi temple, Balaji temple, Narayanguru temple and Swaminarayan temple are the perfect places to attain spiritual enlightenment. Navi Mumbai is also the proud owner of the DY Patil Stadium which is one of the excellect Cricket stadiums in India. Tikuji-Ni-Wadi theme park is a perfect place to hangout for both elders and kids. To escape from the heat and dust of the city Suraj Water park is the best place which entertains the visitors with its exciting water rides.

 Close to Navi Mumbai is Kharghar Hills, aptly placed in the background of lush green woods it evokes a rejuvenating feeling with its calm and cool ambiance. Lonavla and Khandala, the twin hills which is about 60kms from Navi Mumbai are must see places. Pandavpada falls and Rain Tree Marg are worth visiting.

Khargar Hills : This spectacular hill is a perfect place to enjoy a morning and evening walk for the aged and best place for the youth to hangout with friends. The best time to visit this place is just when the monsoon sets in. Unfortunately this beautiful hillstation is closed during rainy season due to landslides. Pandavakhada waterfall is also enjoyable.

Rain Tree Marg : This beautiful place offers panoramic view of the Navi Mumbai. 

Sarovar Vihar Garden : This place like the Marine Drive provides excellent view of the underlying sea and scenery. An autorickshaw can be hired to reach the place. 

Airoli and Vashi bridges connect Navi Mumbai to the main Mumbai. Chatrapathi Shivaji International Airport in the mainland is about 30 kms from here.
