Lord Srikanteshwara Temple

It is the prime attraction and most popular temple in Najangud. The sacred shrine is on the banks of River Kabini and devoted to Lord Shiva. It is believed that the Linga in sanctum sanctorum was installed y the Saint Gauthama. It depicts a Dravidian style of architecture.

Kabini River

It is a fabulous River, around 80 km from Mysore district which serves as a huge reservoir. It is also a famous wildlife destination and has an eccentric lake along with a forest region which sprawls around 55 acres. It gives an excellent place to camp to enjoy the virgin surroundings and to trek to Kumara Parvatha.
