Brief history of the village
polepalle is also called as polepalli
This is an ancient village with a population of about 2000 people,though a small village an ideal village not only in the district.Agriculturally a potential village with sufficient ground water and there are two tanks in the village constructed during the regime of Kakatiyas. Most of the population is backward class people and there are several centering work labor in the village .more than 300 population is dependent on construction work.Rest of the population is dependent on agriculture. There are several employees working in various departments like POLICE,RTC,R&B, REVENUE,PR,and most probably EDUCATION,though there is only one primary school in the village providing education up to class five most of the students go to near by schools at Mataid and Thorrur villages which are at a distance of 1.2 and 6 kms respectively.
There is temple of Sri Seetha Ramanjaneyaswami and Shiva along with navagrahas are also installed there in and the temple is located in the middle of the village.and here also two grama devatha's MUTHYALAMMA temples,and some statues like veera bhadra and anjaneya as rakshaks for these villege.
And there is community based temples also which are KATAMA RAJU temple newly constructed by g ouds on main tank of village,another one is GANGAMMA which is east side of tge village and it is under construction by YADAVA caste., There is also one temple in our HARIJANA colony SAWARLACHAMMA.
There is a connecting road from warangal, khammam main road state high way 563 into the village at a distance of less than a kilometer. The village is also famous for horticulture and advanced agricultural operations. We find every good variety of mango trees in the village such as DASERI, HIMAYAT, PEDDARASLU, MALLIKA AND OTHER VARIETIES,and also some LEMON farm are here.people in the village are basically hard working and industries.
The village is neglected by govt.officials and not taken care by any one. all political parties take the villagers help but there is no reciprocal support from them.the help of the district administration is needed to help the village to grow more and develop to the optimum level it needed and deserved.
