There is a Shiv Parvati Temple in village Vishunpur Arra were a combined statue of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati of single piece blackish Red spotted stone (Shiv Linga with attached Devi Parvati on a single stone piece), which found during cultivation of a agricultural land (period not known) by the family members of Late Babu Baliram Prasad (Grand son of Late Kalicharn- s/o Late Jagdev Sahai- Late Baliram Prasad- his son Sh. Ravindra Kumar Sinha "Tulsi Babu"- four brothers- (Late Krishna Kumar Sinha-Nanhe Babu, Late Rajendra Kumar Sinha-Manhe Babu, Late Styendra Kumar Sinha- Munshi Babu and Sh. Ravindra Kumar Sinha-Tulsi Babu and his wife Ms. Kamini Sinha) and a small Nandi Cow (stolen now). The temple is situated on the same place where it was found and pooja is regularly doing by the family of Pandit Acharya Ramashankar Prasad s/o Late Pandit Kapildev, which is managed by Sh. Shailendra Kumar Sinha- Mukul ji, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar- Sanju, Sh. Niranjan Kumar Sinha- Anju, Sh. Dhananjay Kumar and Tripurari and their family members).
A Thakurbari is also there in the village, which was also managed by Babu Baliram Prasad's family now it is managed by other village members. A maa Jagdamba stham (temple) is also there along with other temples in the village.
Educational facilities: A Govt. Middle School is there along with various pvt. schools in the village with good educational facilities.
A Pond (Pokhar) with fresh water is also there, where village members are taking holly bath during the Chhat Pooja (Chaitra & Kartik month) every year.
Other facilities: A small market in the village where peoples are doing there day to day marketing and their daily meetings too. A weekly vegetable and other products market called Pethia is also arranged in the village near its market chowk.
Agriculture: All Kharif and Rabbi Crops, Grams along with seasonal vegetables, Potato and Onion etc.
Spices & Pulses: Turmeric, Garlic, Ginger etc. Arhar, Masoor, Moong, Marooa, Jwar etc.
Cash Crop: Tobacco, Patsan, Fisheries etc.

"Vishunpur Arra" is a beautiful, Green and ancient village of Bihar, it is very well connected with its state capital Patna by bus and also connected by Trains and buses from Hajipur (district town) and Muzaffarpur (nearby town). Its nearby Railway station is Goraul on main line of Muzaffarpur-Delhi via Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur- approx distance 10 Kms. from Goraul.
