In early forefather days phange is one biggest amongst the village. But at times of kuki tangkhul war many villager fle to Burma. At that time Manipur was rule bybthe maharaja. Five meitei was on their way to phange for trade was killed by the kukis at the junction of phange . this news reachinbthe ears of maharaja. He declare war against phange ..Due this terror many fle to Burma ..and the remaining kuki colonies the village ..after many years kukis were drive out from the village . the main land languages is lost.
