Rumal is Very Beautiful place, it is situated the border of three district Seoni, Balaghat and Mandla in a depth of forest, and bank of Baingangas river. where it includes various more scenic spots, like the Mashanbarra, Pataolpani, Dhundhitola etc within 10 km.The terrain is rolling, with most of the area covered by small hill ranges and forest steeply sloping on the sides, The area is crises-crossed by numerous seasonal streams and "nalas".a no of water pools locally known locally as "dohs" are found, which serve as waterholes for wild animals. A few perennial springs also exist in this area. However, the water sources are not suitably distributed hence large area remains unused by the wild animals. Tigers usually inhabit this belt. Leopards, though, generally operate in the peripheral areas but are occasionally seen in deep forests also. Jungle cats are commonly seen. Leopard cats, small Indian Civet and Palm Civet are common but seen very rarely. Wild dogs are commonly seen in packs of 12 to 15, it is a very small place and away from 5 KMs from the main road one of the District Famous Tank Name is “Rumal Talab” another attraction of this place its capable to full fill the water requirement of 17 villages former for their occupation and its was built up by the British Government in a around 1890, the different different interesting stories available about the villages name one of the famous story is once upon a time one British officer came this village for visit and forget his hankie  in a gust house than they name of this village as “Rumal” one another story is one of the villagers always hang his hanky in his arm and whenever he goes people called Rumal wale Bhaiya  after that village name as nominated “Rumal” In this village you will be find all Indian Caste people mostly the Pawars are in this village the development story about this village is very interesting after the freedom of india in 1947 this village always the skips by the management reason is this is situated in depth of forest there was only One Primary school having only one teacher and now till 10^th standard school is there, One of small Hospital of peoples and animals also available but still now there is no telephone line reach till villages peoples are very emotional and supportive and believe to live always together  99% Villagers are the former and having a different culture by cast they celebrate all Hindus Festival together. at the time of dipawali one Older festival is “Gaiya Khilana”On this event the people collect one fixed place of the village with their old instrument of Baja and cows than play the instrument and run behind the cows and try to cross every cow specific place they keep the Puja samagri with the bamboo after that in this place they organize the mela and they called it to “Mandai”it is unseen event or culture by most of the indian
