This village has all attributes of a typical Indian village. One can get the feel of Rural India by spending some time over here. It has Gram Panchayat, Police choki and shop for basic needs and a govt school which was till 8th Standard until few years back, now it's high school with almost same infrastructure. This beautiful village is surrounded by 30 tiny villages. Though Hatpipliya itself is very small village of population around 3000 but it's hub for business and education for its neighboring villages. There was a time in early 90s(1990) when students from neighboring villages used to come by cycle for higher education. Please note here "Higher Education" is used deliberately which means anything after 5th standard since most of the neighboring village had school only up to 5th class. Now things have changed, thanks to Indian Govt for its focus on right to education, most of the neighboring villages has school up to 8th standard.
On business, almost all neighboring villages buy material of needs from HATPIPLIYA, if not from JAORA(nearest town), It has weekly market on Wednesday called HAT which is somewhere related to its name HATPIPLIYA. HAAT covers, selling and buying of domestic animal for agriculture use like goat, cow...bull..,.
This is really a happening place. All sorts of planning happen over tea stall. People spend time over tea stall and a typical meeting place. The concept of coffee with Karan is not something new with this place.
