In 1857 these Bhaies (brothers) fought against the British .In this fight the British overtook their region .When they saw their region is going to be overtaken by the British ,they allotted some parts of their region to their RAKHELS (ill legal wives) named Peur Bai , Laloo Bai ,Bedo Bai,and Loolo Bai .Village Peori was the region of Peur Bai .
Village Peori is two hundred years old . This village was developed by SIDHU FAMILY. There are two Patties (parts) in this village are called Bhovna and Aspal . First of all Peori was a village of district Ferozepur . After that it became a part of district Faridkot .In November 1995 it become a part of new district Mukatsar .The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture.iIt is situated on Gidderbaha-Jangirana road.
