This village is established by Great Meo Chieftain Jodhiya Rana Balot. He was successor of Great Meo Ruler Maharana Kaku Rana Balot & Atmal Rana Balot ( Also known as Atte Khan in Mewat).As per records Name salaheri is originated from Saleriya ( Name of Brother Anangpal-II) which was used for the tanwar meos.People of this village claims that they are direct descendants of PANDVA's as per Jagga's kurshinama.
Great chieftain Jodhiya rana Balot was Prime Minister in Ghasera riyasat & he established a fort in the village & built water tanks(Talaabs) in three sides of village & also established chowki's to protect the village from invaders.
Most popular story of Jodhiya Rana Balot is that he was so powerful & skilled in using sword or Bhala that in one attempt he could cross it through seven tawas ( seven Pans). Jodhiya Rana Balot was also chaudhary of 222 villages. He was so skilled in military tactics that till his time no one dared to attack on Ghasera Riyasat even if the Riyasat was very small.
