name. Achannapally is under Tekmal mondal Andole Constituency and Zaheerabad MP
Constituency and it is in Medak district. Achannapally have road
connectivity for Medak Town and Jogipet town. From Medak 26km is there and Jogipet
21 km is there.
In Achannapally village mostly peoples are doing agriculture only. well grounded water is there at 15 foots water are coming for last 3 years but present it is 30 foots. Village have 6 lakes are there around 5 km radius of centre in village. there is BACHARAM cheruv is there it is largest lake around 240 acres area is there. The 45% irrigation is done by this lake only. it is joint lake of Achannapally and Bacharam village. Manjeera river is flowing from yenkapally surroundings. The distance from River and Achannapally village is 3km. So in 1999 the government sanctioned One Lift irrigation project for my village. Now this totally working for ST peoples in my village . So another Lift irrigation project is Sanctioned TRS govt after got Telangana. it is now 50% village people and another 50% ST people.
Total cultivated area is 110 acres . non cultivated area is 15.9 acres . If rain fall is good then lakes are full with water then my village croped rice at nearly 6 to 8 lorry load rice. and Corn also croped majorly. Rice, Corn, Vegetables, sugarcane and juava and mangoes are majorly croped. at the time of Dusserha my village is totally green .
Grand celebrating festivals are so many are there. but Bathukamma is biggest festival. Duseehra deepavali chrictmas and Sankranthi, Kartheeka Pournami,and Ugadi and Eruvaka purnami and Ekadashii and Ganesh chaturdi and Muharam are major festivals we are celebrating. In my village no Muslims are there but we celebrate grandly MUHARAM and playing dhoola very grandly.
The major temples are Hanuman Temple, Yellamma Temple Durgamma temple Pochamma temples are there. At kartheeka pournami we celebrate Yellama Temple anniversary day. the temple was built by govt and my village people with nearly 5 crores. very nice place biggest temple .and Hanuman Temple alsi very beautiful and sculpture was very good.
The road of narsingi to Yedupayala via kodapaka my village is there so it is best tourist place for who are visit Yedupayala in this way.
