ERDANOOR:
Erdanoor is one of the GP in Sangareddy Mandal. Its 4 km distance to Nakkavagu. This village had one big tank name is Peddacheruvu or Thurkacheruvu, this storage capacity 168 acr. Nearby this village two companies are established one Alkabeer export pvt company (meat processing and Export Company) and another one HFL –Hindustan flora Carbon Company.
While doing interaction with village elders BIKSHAPATHI, ASHIA, SURESH AND ANANTHAIAH, they said due to HFL company died 20 to 25 big animals died within two or three days. At that time village people had appeal to Govt to remove the company. The govt time being paid compensate to victims and take necessary protection measures which not effecting to villagers and animals.
In another case while interacted villagers explored that, in Alkabeer export Pvt Company continuingly releases waste water into the Peddacheruvu. Due to that storage water colour changed into red and chemically polluted. In during night times the company releases gases into the air, its smells very bad and unbearable. Due to that villagers felt head ache and lead unknowing allergies. Before establishing this company the village fisher man’s community grown the fishes in the tank. In summer season villagers and buffaloes normally doing swim in tank, now we can’t saw that situations like that they shared their past experiences. The water also polluted not use for anything.
Another question asked to them is Alkabeer and HFL companies are doing any charity works like health camps, awareness camps, skill development programmes to youth and particularly women, for that replied no, they not doing anything to village or villagers and also said no NGOs are worked or working.
We observed many bore well dug out for the irrigation purpose and water export from village through lorry tankers to urban, we captured a snap of photo while they loading water into the lorry tanker.
Existing CBOs are SHGs, Village Organisation (registered SHGs federation), and Vinayaka yuvajana samithi (not registered).
