Location: Gangauli village belongs to Pandaul taluka in Madhubani district. It is situated nearby to NH-57 at Raje Tol-Plaza. This village is based at the border of Darbhanga district and Madhubani district of Bihar almost 13 Km to the Madhubani district and 30 km from Darbhanga district headquarter. Nearest railway station is Manigachi in Darbhanga district at 2 km south and nearest market is Sarisab-Pahi in Madhubani district which is situated at 1 km east of the village. In north there is village Navtol of Madhubani district. In west and south there is village Raje of Darbhanga District.
School and College: This village has One Sanskrit school named as Gauri Shankar Bhesnath Sanskrit Vidyalaya and One Hindi school named as Government Middle School Navtol. Both the School had been founded in 1974 by famous and well-known social person Sri Baidyanath Jha, which later accredited by Bihar government. Nearest high school is Lakshmishwar Academy Sarisab high school and college is Lakshmishwar Academy Sarisab College which is a recognized college in Mithila University.
Earlier, there were so many Sanskrit scholars in this village. Few of them are Pandit Budhinath Jha, Pandit Mahesh Jha, Vyakaran Acharya Shri Krishnanand Jha, Pandit Shri Jatesh Jha, Pandit Shri Dhiresh Jha.
At present, one of the Sanskrit Acharya of this village Pandit Sri Jatesh jha is the head of the priest for famous Mahavir Mandir situated at Patna Junction which is considered, the biggest Hindu temple of Bihar state.
Hospital: Sarisab hospital and Referal Hospital, Manigachi are the nearest Government hospitals. There are few other small clinics also. Villagers are well known to the Sadar hospital Madhubani and DMCH Darbhanga.
Road and Rail: The village is situated besides of NH57. Buses and auto are so often available. Manigachi is nearest railway station just 2 km south of the village.
Social life: Farming is main livelihood of the villagers. Earlier two sugar mills 'Sakri Sugar Mill' and 'Lohat Sugar Mill' were in operation nearby to just 5 to 7 km apart from this village. Both mills are closed and not in function now. There is a big pond in area of more than 52 Acres in this village named as Haruwahi. Water of this pond is used for different purposes by the villagers. Other famous pond in the village is Painpibi and Raut. There are temples of Lord Shiv, Hanuman Ji. Brahma sthan is used in various religious activities and celebrations by the villagers. Monkeys are biggest threat to the villagers. It is a challenge for them to keep themselves and their farm products safe from monkeys.

Long ago it is said that the river Kamla was flowing nearby to this village and so it has been named as Gangauli.Location: Gangauli village belongs to Pandaul taluka in Madhubani district.
