Ranipur is a very beautiful village in Madhubani District. Ranipur is also known by the name of Matrahri. It is situated in the bank of river Dhous. one of the best example of human being here due to multi cultural people live here, everyone participate in every types of festival, like as Sarswatipuja, Chattpuja and Eid also, There is a beautiful temple of radhakrishna. This temple is situated in the middle of village. There is a old pipal tree in the mandir campus.The huge number of bat (chamgadar) living on this tree. Old people ( Late. surat mishra) say's they are(chamgadar) living here from a long time. This village is surrounded by river from three sides and also oldest the Mann pool, from south side goes the Madhubani-Sitamari District road highway. The SRASWATIPUJA of my village is famous.
