Separately settled in 1837.Basically it was a part of village Jaspalon.(Village Jaspalon was setup by Baba Jaspal Singh and Baba Bhopal Singh came from village Sankhattra Distt. - Syalkot, now in Pakistan in 1808). This mother-village (jaspalon) is 3KM FROM IT.primarily, only 5-jatt families comes from jaspalon. some families belonging to other castes also come with them. they were one family of barbers,one family of carpenter/ blacksmith and one family of pandits.Families of other castes i.e.sweeper(majhvies) Harijans etc come from other villages.
Its population is 800, no.of houses 95, total cultivation land is 295 acres. Main occupation of village is agriculture. Some famileis have setup industries in Ludhiana.School--Primary (one)..and Anganwari center..(one) and Milk collective centre(one).People belonging to diffrent religiouns have their own peace i.e. Gurdwara Sahib(excellent building)dargah of pir,Hanuman Mandir and other worshiping places, where people pray their obeisance on particular days i.e. on Dashmi etc.
