Disket is the sub district centre of Nubra, Leh UT Ladakh, India. The oldest monastery where the famous Gustor Chamms or The Mask Dance in Nubra valley Hapens in Disket and statue of the Maitreya Buddha in Disket are one of the key attraction of both the pilgrimage and tourists. it is Located 108 km from district Leh UT Ladakh. It share it's International border with both Pakistan and China, and also neighbouring states are Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir. By vehicles there are three ways to reach Disket from the head quarter 'Leh District' and all the three routes with passes, they are via Khardong La, Warri La and Chang La ( La means Pass). Local language is Bodhik or Ladakhi, other commonly use languages are Hindi, Urdu, English. Since the valley is surrounded with mountains you will find all the four seasons such as summer, winter, autumn and spring with different scenes or view.
