Thol village is located within Kurukshetra district, Tehsil Pehowa,Haryana.It is very beautiful place inhabited by equally beautiful and honest people.The primary occupationn of majority of the masses is farming.The agricultural produce is primarily dependent on sessessions and thus paving the way for a wide array of agricultural produce which include sugercane wheat,rice, mustred,lentils,vegitables,frutes.

Thol village is stands out for its many historical events & some of the major historical events are as follows.

1. Thol village and Buddhism share a great bit of history as Lord Budha is attributed to have attained a lot of knowledge(some part of this Gyan) during his brief visit to this village,which at the then period was known as 'Thul-Kuth' now it is 'Thol-Kurri'.

2. Another intersting historical fact of thol village is that during the Mughal rule the people of the village refused to pay the revenue and taxes to the emperior and rose in rebellion.

3. No less significant is the fact that many a souls have laid down their precisious lifes in the freedom struggle.And during the British period people of the village had the privelege of holding the Zaildar post and the post was held by Sh. Chadhat Sangra after him his son Sh. Pritam Sangra and that family also hold the post of Lamberdar till now.
