OverView of Maddulapalli
Well,Maddulapalli isn't just a village. It's collection of emotions and hard work of our forefathers from 1940's or before. The village formed during Nizam ruling days, before villages forming here it was complete dense forest and home place for all kind of animals. Due to changes in British ruling and interference of Nizam ministers, our forefathers had come to this place and started constructing homes and slowly the evolution took place and it has become identifiable place called as 'ADAVI (Forest) Maddulapalli (Collection of Trunks)'. The village sq.ft has been developed upon cutting long and big trees and made them into home constructing material during those days.
Since everyone during those days were primarily depended on agriculture as source of income. It has followed to all decades and still agriculture is primary source of income. Main crops being cultivated are Paddy, Mirchi (Red Chilli), Cotton and Maize. To made water source available for harvesting and everyday usage at village, two lakes were built upon named as "Pedda Cheruvu" and "Mangala Gandi Cheruvu", these two were heart of the village to cater the needs of villagers and farming fields.
Upon changes in administration in terms of policies, constitutional changes around the country, we've been supported by subsidized system of support as financial aid to agriculture needs and basic needs in terms of education, hospitality and crop storages.
With the help of few landlords at village, govt had built in primary and secondary school for education.
Coming to cultural well being here, everyone lives with limited available resources that are and work hard to earn some money and raise their children for better standard of living.
There's no differentiation among men and women here, as everyone works equal hard and work together with others.
Ofcourse there's a caste based differentiation happening over decades around the country, here too the pattern has been going on and everyone here feel proud about their community. But during times of need basically people here don't get too much into caste issues as we live together and see each other everyday.
And coming to special about the village, from the year 1986 to 2006. Throughout the nation and state, everywhere we were famous about kabaddi sport. As it become every child and grand father's passion that everyone likes to play and watch this sport game. However during the course of time, to look after families and needs of children's, men who were soo passionate about this kabaddi had to quit and continue with their professions. But now the trend has come down and the youth is being sent for higher studies and due to changes in 21st century every family wanted their child to do any job that earns them good amount of money. Only few were stayed back and looking after their fields since they didn't have passion towards higher studies or lack of interest.
Coming to hospitality: We've been following traditional methods to heal from any kind of health issues. Slowly and steadily English medicine has took place and few first aid clinics started at village and also n no. of multi speciality hospitals at district headquarters Khammam.
Coming to transportation, during old days main transportation is only through walking, later on its bulloc kart, and on motorcycles, cars, buses, etc.
Village is under mandal headquarters called Kamepalli, around 8 kms from here. And district headquarters Khammam around 29 kms.
Recent happenings in village are:
- Newly constructed temple "Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple" and "Muthyalamma (Village Goddess) temple", and Bodrai establishment took place.
- CC roads being constructed bits and pieces.
- Online centers available for any kind of online work
- Village assistant officer (VRA, VRO) available weekdays and panchayat secretary during weekdays for any village legal related matter's.
- Sarpanch and MPTC being nominated by people here through voting system and we'll we've then onboarded for every five years. Their job is to find out what's going good and bad and report to higher authorities and try to get as much as help to address needs.
- Motorcycle puncture shops available
- Groceries and General provision stores available
- Road has been made like state highway which connects to district headquarters. It's 40 min drive on an avg.

- Water supply is sufficient to cater needs
- Fertilizer shops are there to supply crops needs
- Mobile and internet connectivity is at it's best (Airtel and jio utmost)
Whoever took studies as their passion and pursued higher studies and settled around the world in good jobs and others also in govt sector. Over-all in evey sector people are there from here.
Overall, it's a good place to feel the rich authenticity of village culture and enjoy the truebessence of old days with grand parent's.
