OverView of Artamul
Near about 1700 century village Artamul was established. Some peoples are moved from "Va diha" village to this land and named to Artamul. That time 'Satwaki Bal' was 'Landlord'(zamindar) of this village and he have mukaddami of this taluka. After him his son 'Naichhuna Bal' and then his grandson 'Garud Bal' were landlord of this village respectvly. This family is also awarded the titel of "Balabantaray".Then 'Purastama Bal' (son of Garud Bal) was zamindar of this village. After him his son 'Shama Bal' Was zamindar of this village. But he lost his Zamindari in his perioed. 'Kashinath Bal' was son of Shama Bal. 'Dhruba Charan Bal' was son of Kashinath Bal.
