Alur is the small village in Raikal mandal.Aloor is about 20km from the district headquarters jagtial.And is about 68 km from the karimnagar,Dussera is celebrated in a big way with many people gathering at the Jambi near the water tank. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people Rice, corn, turmeric, chilli are grown. Dairy, poultry are the upcoming industries.There is much horticulture, with many mangoes. Many people live on rolling the beedis; which is a popular occupation for the housewives in this region.
