1.Old fort with moat existed in the land adjacent to present oblapur school next to paddy fields.even now you can see some remains of the old fort in the area.2.An old shiva Temple existed over somanna gutta between oblapur and mallapur villages and now rebuilt by contributions from mallapur and adjacent villagers. To reach temple we can climb stairs located on the east side from Mallapur where you can also find the temple chariot near the entrance to stairs.Tractors carrying equipment for temple approach from north side .
3.During my recent visit to the area I noticed more improvements in the temple area mainly from contributions from people around the area .
4.Regarding approach road it is still needs help from local authorities and contributions from indiviuals
to make it safer for movement of vehicles and visitors who are old and disabled.
5.Approach by climbing from east side needs some improvement in steps and putting railings for support
