Uncha is sacred holy place from 1970 to 1990 the village was enjoying popularity in all over rajasthan. At that time a famous saint satimata ji sa was living in this holy place she was the centre of her devotees, she was not consuming food water and sleep since 24 years ,her miracles and stories (hymns) are famous in western Rajasthan ,the California university press olso researched on the living sati, mentioned in book the religious beliefs and rajput womens , she passed away on 1990 3july, with the large crowd of devotees Her last rights was completed , today she is worshipped in form of an Idol in her temple know as shanti aashram uncha .Edit below overview about Uncha
