This village has a old history. Gurera village is inhabited by Godara. Around the year 1700 choudhary sh. Gadhsiram Godara came and established gurera village. The choudhary Godara family was never a slave to the mugals and rajputs. Ch. shri Gadsiram godara setteld people of diffrent castes and gotra in his village and gave them their lands for their survival. Ch. Gadhsiram godara was a very respected man and everyone in the village respected him. ch. Gadhsiram godra had three sons : Biru Godara, Khiraj Godara, and budhar Godara. biru was unwarried while khiraj godara had five sons:
1: Jallu Godara 2; Sukhram Godara 3: Kallu Godara 4: Hira Godara 5: Aasaram Godara
Now ,In all these families kalu godara family is considered as one of the biggest family in village . Right now the nineth generation of the godara family is running and it belongs to kalu family. This village has a big name in social work. Shri jagdish arya, shri hanuman prasad kedia do the social work and other name in social work shri dharmbir tandi, shri rajendra verma s/o shri nathuram verma. shri devilal dhukia, shri rampratap Godara, Sikander Khyaliya.
