Etah is a district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters are situated at Etah Town. It comes under the Aligarh division. Yadavs and Rajputs dominate the region. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people. It is a highly fertile land as it is situated between Ganga and Yamuna. The farmers can grow up to 3 different crops in a year. The water for irrigation is present all the year round. The city of Etah is developing at a very fast pace. It is the district headquarters since the British time. National Highway 91 passes through this region. The Padav maidan is the field used for the army during army movements.
