Agriculture is the main profession of the people here. There is a Upper Primary School (upto 7th class) in this village. Nearly 350 Houses are there. This village people are independent and courageous in living and lifestyle. 

The castes munnurukapu Kuruma, Golla(yadava), reddy, mudiraj, chakali, mangali, gouds,  are living here. This village is 3Kms away from the village Pembarthi and 8Kms away from the Jangoan. 

Its mandal is Lingala Ghanapuram which is 5Kms away in the east direction.

To get higher studies after 7th class the children have to go to near by village Kallem(2kms eastside).

In this village every family is having minimum agriculture land to survive themselves. But the major problem is water. There are very rare water resources.
