I'll has a historical temple ( Laxmi Narayan) constructed by Gen.Zorawer Singh one of the minister in king Partap Singh during seventeenth century. It is one of the important monuments made by remarkable stuff at that time. I would like to collect some interesting and valuable information about this village in near future, only to share this to my. villagers and society as well. The inhabitants of this village are poor and honest .This villas has faced a great tregdey during militancy in 1995, in which 15 innocent people were shot dead by militants. This village is now has it's road connectivity to town thathri. Its population is about three thousand .It has a govt. high school, a. got middle school, a private primary school, a health sub. centre, and more importantly the the government is making a proposal to select a place for constructing a degree collage in Barshalla area as well. A minni stadium is also under consideration to construct in near future, THE LAND for which has already been donated by villagers This ground was famous for BIRBAL Stadium as before, As it is a centre place in which the players from doda ro kishtwar and gondola to bhaderwh take part in the tournaments every years.
