If you traveling from Halliked to Markal you will come across the hill side mosque which is named as Shekhapari Saheb Darga and while walking down the hill you will find Naganath temple and beside that side the village comes to the lane is called as Bothgi perhaps we are not going another village well lets just stick to the Markhal. so while trailing to markhal you will come across the beautiful fields then the Markhal comes comes in 5Kilo meter miles away. so markhal has Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Major parts to see in village is the bridge which is near to a river which is more active during rainy sesson and plus it is quite good to see in winter season as it all covered in fog pluse in summer most of time it get dried as the climit temperature rise to 43 degree celisus so, yup not good idea to travel in summer. but anyways there are temples in village such as one big HANUMAN temple near to main road plus ther is a statute of ambedkar in the centre of the road as you move along bit inside the village there is a one government primary school. Remember the big river which i was talking about it is connected to a dam called karanja jalashaya. The most of field's which are close to river they get water supply by this water body. Hallikhed is nearest town to Markhal and on the other hand there is NH9 highway in 9km from Markhal. They been constructing an railway station near by which could be is 6 km from Markhal and near to Hallikhed dugh its town so it has to get bit more access. Anyways lets know more. So basically by calling town it as school they are BTVP pri and high school and puc science Ganna bharathi primary and high school. Major festivals are been celebrated in them most famous is Ganesh utasava its kinda famous in to the nearest villages. There are carnivals are been celebrated Jatra utsva its celebrated once in a year People from near by villages visit to add extra flour to it. anyways i tried to tell as much as i know but there are new projects are going on building new houses neat to the hills side. hope you like to visit if not you can buy property to make an excuse to leave the place far from troubles.
