As I know from my old age personal information that the Kalod village was the Powers of Pilania gotra in this village and all supremo on politically,geographically and all type of other amenities as Nambardhari and other surveying power to run a village in hand to them. Before my 10th generation there were a prominent person Mr Sroopa Babal came from Ginari village at present located in Rajasthan to this village after left many place visited as Kanwari village distt. Hisar Haryana. There was a great problem regarding growing the field by Camel due to harder land to agriculture not to grow the corps but to ploughing seeds in sand bcz it was ploughing by the oxes (Ball/He Cow). There after he came with his two wives,son, brother and other members of family.When they reached at village Kalod there saw that this agro land is very easy to plough the field by Camel and no any hardness in field to grow to crops. There was a great problem suffered by Mr Saroopa that the Nambardar of the village Kalod was not paying the taxes (Laggan) of govt for sometime. The Nambardar of the Village Kalod came to Saroopa and said who are you to take place for stay here,If you will stay here the there is condition for stay, that you have to pay the pending taxes of land. He agreed that he will pay the all pending taxes of land but there is condition from my side also that If I will pay all pending taxes and in future. He should be the Nambardar of village and take land which land taxes paid by him. They all are agreed and cleared balance debited taxes. Thereafter he Became the Nambardar of the village. The Nambardari system is genetic given to the elder son if the father of the son. Till today it is along with there. Today , Many gotra are present in this village KALOD like MAHAJAN ( MANTRI , AGGARWAL ) JAAT ( PILANIA , BABAL , SAHARAN , BHAKAR , RAO , POONIA , MAAN & MAHALA ) BHARAMANA , JANGRA , VERMA , NAI & CHAMAAR DHANAK etc.
