As per name like CHINNAMEDU and the village also small in size. It is a fisherman village of Mayiladuthurai district, Tamil Nadu Around 250 families are living in this village. The boys and girls are very intelligent and being smartness to do any kind of work. So many persons from this village are graduated and working in foreign countries like Singapore, Qatar, Dubai etc. They are running a tuition centre or students welfare classes for the children from the fund of persons who are working in the foreign countries. And our temple festival called MASI MAGAM. It is happening in last week of February to first week of March. During village festival our village representatives are honoring our students in the centre stage those are getting promoted to next level in board exams. We are fishing with small boats and nets on daily basis. So many environmental activities are taken by our village youngsters.
