SEMERTTA  is a beautiful village having beautiful location of natural scinery and picnic spot very near from Rourkela town..the people belongs this village are very simple kind hearted ..most of them i know Tarang babu, Anta babu, Kamar ,Tanka and Gana are very good people having good maner and behavior..one boy named sujit is a very hard labourer and their leader shyam babu are also good people..

'Prathamastami" is a big festival of this village including Ganesh Chaturthi & Nuakhai.

On the day of Prathamastami the villager are arranging a kirttan programme for meet theier relatives on their own circle of  "Bhuyan" tribes. it's an ammazing and pleasant moments of the village with having well and wealthy culture "Atithi Devo Bhavah".

Most of the villager are depending upon farming. but found wealthy in "Samskar".

Need to develop the village with Sanitary system, pipe water supply, good road & helping hand of education. River bank protection of village and a bridge over near flowing Deo river.

Goenment should look the village with eye-open view of development.
