Damera village is famous for cultivation of onions and coriander till 1990. Then on farmers started cultivating cotton and mirchi. Village consists of around 150 teachers, 50 engineers, 20 agriculture graduates, 15 doctors and many other graduates. In sixties and seventies village was famous for good kabbadi players. Damera has a old Sri hanumanji mandir in the middle of the village. Many reddy families are in village with surnames as Polsani, Polam,Gurijala, Gujjula and chandupatla etc;.
