Paju Khurd is a village situated at link Road on Safidon Assandh Road in Distt. Jeend (Haryana). History of village is that once the Raja(King) of Jind in the year about 1885-1890 during hunting in Jangals of Madlouda/Kavi, stayed at Village Nara Distt. Panipat for a night. He was warmly welcomed by the people of Village Nara. He felt very happy and proud by the hospitality of people of Nara and offered to dwell a village in his Kingdom of Jeend and offered to give free land of 5000 bigas. But the villagers refused to take land without any cost and purchased the land of 5000 bigas for a Rupee from king of Jeend . As such, our respected forefathers(Bujurg) came from Village Nara now in Distt. Panipat in the year about 1890 and developed a village at this place, firstly which called as Village Khera but later on, it changed to Paju Khurd. The place where our respected precedents/forefathers put their lagguage first, at that place respective and Hon'ble DADA KHERA of the village is situtated, where a workship is performed on every Sunday. At present, village Paju Khurd has a population of about 2250 people. The main occupation of the villagers is agricultural farming and dairy farming. There is school of upto 8th class. There are about 15 casts lives in village with mutual love. Major caste lives in village is of Jat of Kharb Gotra.There is a very beautiful Shiva Temple in the village and Sayyad(Majjar) where people of all casts and religions perfomed worships. Muana, Singhana, Paju Kalan, Aftafgarh and Ror are neibhouring villages of Paju Khurd. One can reach to Paju Khurd by road. Its distance from Safidon is 6 Kms and from Assandh is 13 Kms. The village is contineously taking active part in the politics also. The present sarpanch(head of village) is Narendra kharb.
