It is a village which had its origin from sonipat district's people having sirname ' Dahiya',so also called dahiya kheda. Economy of the village mainly dependent upon the agriculture and also having a nearby canal for irrigation. As far as religion is concerned , this village also had an old temple of shiva, haridas, dadi sati. People are hindu and divided in many caste like brahmin, jat, goldsmith, blacksmith, potters, teli,dalit who all are hindu god worshiper. Village also have a panchayat which are currently headed by Vijender Dahiya,a young, courageous, honest personality. There are not so many conflict in village but still the lower strata live in poverty and mainly dependent on patronage of jats and brahmins. In all aspect it is a self reliant village ( agriculture and livestock). Nearest railway station is jhajjar just 5 km away and 2 km from jhajjar-rohtak road or jhajjar- sonipat road.Village history
