Bikrampur is the oldest village of nabrangpur district,how ever there is no such prove regarding this.The king of Jeypore,sri. Bikramsingh Deo had establish the village before 150 yrs. The village is surrounded by,two rivers,a deep forest,and a small hill. Its a better place for life,while its main attraction is, the shiv temple, jagannath temple, gudi thakurani, trinath mandir etc. Lots of pilgrims came to visit the village. The main occupation of people in this village is cultivation,while others were working in different govt. and private sectors. Many Indian festivals are been celebrated in this village,while some important festivals were, Durga puja, Ganesh puja, Kumar purnima, Navratri, Siv ratri, Janmastami etc. The popular festival of this village is "Balijatra" which is celebrate during an interval of 12 years.The style of wearing of clothes of people is Mixed type i.e The youths love to wear western type,while the Others love to wear the traditional one.
