In Aanjana village majority of community is bramhin and then Jain followed by scheduled cast and tribes. Jain temple built in Aanjana is about 150 years old. There is a old LakshmiNarayan temple which is app.1000 years old but very well maintained by Bramhins community.. According to an interesting old myth A long time ago Lakshminarayan statue was flying above that ground, when some saints saw this they made that statue fall and stay on that ground with their Mantras. Since then it is a place of worship..There is also an old Shiva temple which is originated itself from earth, called as "Swayambhu".This temple is also 100s of year old and well maintained. There are few ponds around village. Mahi river is also near which gives Aanjana its natural beauty.
