Lakhuwas village is about 1.5 km from Sohna Town on Sohna Palwal highway. The main community are Ahir, Gurjar and scedule caste. Mahakariya gotra is mostly in Ahir community and Karhana gotra in Gurjar community besides others i.e. Mawai, Kasana, Bhadana, Chprana, Bidudi, Lohmod and tanwar etc in Gurjar. It is said that by the virtue of both these main community i..e Ahir and Gurjar this village came in existence. All the communities respect to each other. They love each other. In 35 years no punchyat election held in this village except last two tenure. The village is known by two names that is old and new (purana gaon and naya gaon) All members of punchyat elected by the village without election before the village comes in Sohna Municipality. Omparkash karhana is played for the country in discuss throw and successfully partcipated in CWG and Olympic games. This village has given an ADM to Haryana Govt (present serving), an officer in Air Force and three agriculture officer may almighty give them more laurels in coming days. Most of the population depend on agriculture. As the education standard of village is not at par. Villagers have academic education but due to non technical education, a chunk of people is unemployed. Most of the people who are in Govt job they are defence personnel. The village population is nearby 5000. In which only six to seven person are in State Govt Job. Lakhuwas village is situated at border of Mewat and Gurugram districts. There are two temples in the village first one is a new temple of Shri Shiv Ji, Shri Radhe Krishna ji, Shri Hanuman Ji and Shri Sani Dev ji which is built up besides Palwal Sohna road and second one is outside of the village on the way of Udaka village that is also of Shri Shiv Ji temple and also known of the name of sage Shri Hakle Baba . The village has a Govt senior secondary school in which co-education is given to the children. This village is participated in 1857 freedom movement under leadership of Shri Rao Tula Ram Ji. Late Shri Sahmal was freedom fighter of Shri Subhash Chander Bose Army .
