Gouravelly is a major gram panchayati. It has a beautiful tank the name is Pochamma Cheruvu. Infront of the High School there are group of PEEPAL trees(Marri Chettu) located. These trees occupied very large area. These trees age above 100 years.In this huge area Village people constructed one Pochamma Temple. This pochammma temple famaous for Bandlu- Bonalu Jatara.Beside Pochamma temple govt constructed one dispensary to village people.Recently Govt constructed minar irrigation poroject. Name is Gouravelly Dam. In dam Gudatipalli village submerged.In my village many freedom foghers were there. but recently all are possed away.
