Hazrat Syed Ismail Shah Quadri Dargh Ghdwadi Ghodwadi Dargah: A Sufi Shrine of Faith and Miracles Ghodwadi Dargah, located in the village of Ghodwadi in Bidar district, Karnataka, is a revered shrine dedicated to Hazrat Syed Shah Ismail Qadri (R.A.), a descendant of Prophet Muhammad ï·º. Known for his piety and bravery, Hazrat Ismail Qadri migrated from Bidar after a miraculous rescue of a Brahmin girl, ultimately settling in Ghodwadi where his arrow struck the land and caused a fresh water spring to emerge. The dargah is famous for its spiritual energy and miraculous events. One well-known belief is that goats offered as sacrifice disappear overnight without a tracea mystery that draws hundreds of devotees. His urs (death anniversary) is observed annually on 29th Zil Hijjah, attracting large crowds from all communities who gather for prayer, Sufi rituals, and communal meals. Supported historically by Hyderabads royal families, the dargah has maintained its spiritual heritage for centuries. With natural springs, serene surroundings, and a rich legacy, Ghodwadi Dargah remains a symbol of divine grace, unity, and devotion in the Deccan region.
