First of all it is not Chjampeipal rather Champeipal. Also there is a high school in the village named as Champeipal High School. Now coming to the history part it is believed that there was a king named Tarakuti(or Sagar) and his "Champa Bagicha" Champak garden was this village. So it was named "Champa Pala" eventually it becomes Champeipal. There are some old temples in the village "Maa Dakhina Chandi", "Maa Budhi jagulei", "Danardan Thakurani",. There are 2 small river (Nala) flows in this village one is benga another is Radha.
