The village Kamalpur Chak is also known as Qamarpur Chak. It is located about half a kilo-meter away from nearby Railway Station Pabai, between Bina-Bhopal Section of West Central Railway and about 11 kilo-meter away from Tehsil Basoda at Basoda-Vidisha Road via village Pachwan and at a distance of one kilo-meter away from the main road via village Madhiya Khurd. As I know this village was settled in the year of 1924, during the time of then Sindhiya State of Gwalior by Late Syed Kalbe Abbas Naqvi, a leading Advocate of Allahabad High Court and a native of the town Jais of Raebareli District of Uttar Pradesh, subsequently his younger brother Late Syed Kalbe Mujtaba Naqvi, came here in 1936 and settled at this village and remained here till his death, he was popularly known as Mujjan Bhaiya in and around this village and he expired in 1989 at the age of 78. His Sons and their families are still residing and having their farming at this village.
