Chakrapadhi is surrounded by river Salandi from three sides and the other side is by the Salandi Canal. The village is famous for the Goddess Ratnajagulai Temple and Pana Sankranti mela which is observed in mid of April. Earlier the children's were going far away for their study crossing the river. In 1971 Late Shropshire Indramani Kar opened the Chakrapadhi M. E. School which is later grated the Government recognition.
