Around 1955 there was not much in Ashok Nagar. I was in school at that time, my Father was Project Executive Officer stationed at Mulug. Around Ashok Nagar area there were lot of tribal people living scattered almost in jungles. My Father had planned a well organized village and named it Ashok Nagar. Small well planned village was built consisting of thatched houses/huts for the tribal people to live in. People had a decent place to live with some facilities, including medical, school for children etc. I would like to get pictures of this village if anyone has them. It became a model village in the whole district of Warangal and became a showcase for dignitaries.
