If you are an ardent Hindu, a great lover of divinity and love visiting famous spiritual centers then Adi Badri is one of the places which is definitely hard to be unvisited. An oasis of spirituality can be self felt and the mesmerizing carvings and inscriptions of the temple complex which has about 16 beautiful temples in its vicinity encases divine feeling.
The great Hindu spiritual leader Shankaracharya inspired the Gupta rulers to construct this beautiful temple. Located close to Karanprayag the temple is adorned with black monolithic idol of Lord Vishnu. Ved Vyas Rishi is known to have authored the pious Bhagavatha here.

Karanprayad is well connected by road to Nainital and Ranikhet. It is about 20 kms away from Adi Badri. Rishikesh approximately 200kms far has a railway station.
