OverView of Sarsav
Sarsav is a village located about 1.5 k.m. North from Pimpal,East of Kesni,south of Vasai and west of Dantkarodi villages.
It is located on the bank of river Khari,which is now watered through Naramada water supply program.
Interesting fact about this village is,it was located on the opposite side of this river before about100 years ago.it got washed out because of river storm and land slides.We can still see old remains on that side in the form of burried building material like bricks and stuff.we can still see some valley patterns indicating wash down.
Its a small village,population I guess around 2000 people.There is one primary school and no high school as we are close to other high schools in the area e.g. Ganget,pimpal ,Islampur etc.
Primary occupation is farming,Lot of people also go to work in factories in near by cities and towns.
