MANAMPATHY VILLAGEM anampathy village is located south side of kanchipuram at a distance of 27 kms. and from uttiramerur about 11 kms. manampathy village road can be accessed from chengalpattu -vandavasi main road and from kanchipuram vandavasi main road.,the village previously known as vanavan madevi puram. later it got its name changed into manampathy. Thiru somasundharam is a residence of manampathy and was elected as MLA of uttitheremerur constituency and became minster of textile under the Honor'able chief minster J.JAYALALITHA and served the office from 2007-2011.
