OverView of Anida
Anida gir is a one of the beautiful village of gir forest. Anida East border river ma saraswati is flowing. Under ground flowing saraswati is about 1km and abhishek bhuleshwar mahadev direct below sea level. This point is also starting of river kapila as my thought. Beautiful village with beautiful people. Most of people in Anida is in farming. All farmer lives in his own farm houses.Anida majority caste is kshatriya karadiya rajput than second koli, bavaji, suthar, kumbhar, darji etc.
17-18th century Village developed by Zala-karadiya rajpit. After that Parmar, Gohil, Dodiya, Barad, Chavda, Mori, Padhiyar, dodiya, kher, comes in village.
In 12 century many Rajput warriors comes in Somnath from Rajasthan for defence of somnath mandir against Muslim rulers and they are settled near somnath. Anida village like that type of village of rajput like other villages near Somnath.
In anida shiv mandir, ram mandir, hanuman mandir and amrutalyam. shiv mandir first developed at the end of 18th century by people of anida. Its shikhara kalash aaropan by mandabha laxmanbha zala. Ram mandir is redeveloped in august-2000 and his shikhara mounted by haribhai jagmalbhai zala.
