The village having the population about 5000 thouasand and people living in the village are belonging from many casts like bharaman, jaat, harizan, and momdane etc. The majority cast is bharmam and the first elected Surpanch is Purn sharma who bolongs to Bharman community and he had been working as Surpanch for seven years. Dada Lakhmi Chang who was a famous for the indegenous songs came to the village so many times and organised the Haryanvi Saag. Earlier days the village occupation was Agriculture .But now the village boys and girl has been aware and want to do the Govt and also make their futuer in the other flield like IT, Madical, Army and Air force and IAS. The villagers are so spritual and believe in the GOD. BABA TIKRE WALA was a fomous Sant who who was devotee of the GOD and had amazing power, and now days a Mandir has been build and every sunday a fair is organising in the momery of BABA TIKRE WALA. The villagers are intrested in the dairy farming and a many records has been set in the matter of selling Buffalo.The villagers are very hardworker .
