Khanda is a village of mostly Brahman cast. It is situated near Alewa on Rajond to Dhadrath(Sarda) road.It is said by older men that this village was a small town in older days & its name was Khandel Shahar. This was a very beautiful town as said by older men. For rulling on this village A RAJA played a tricks & he invited all villagers for the dinner in his Mahal. He mixed the poison in food & served it to all villagers at one time. All villagers were died & RAJA ruled on this village but as said by older men RAJA suddenly died by heart attack & this villages become like a desert. But one lady of this village was in her Mayaka & she was pregnant. She only one that of this village is alive. After some months she beard a boy baby. After some years that boy was young. When he was playing some boys they said to him that this village was not yours.Here you were like a guest. Boy was angry & went to his mother & asked about the fact. His mother told him all the story that happened in older days. After listening the whole story boy decided to live in his own village but his mother denied it. But he decided that he will come in this village and he starts to farming here. After some time his mother also come back and they both worked hard and after many years Khandel Shahar became a village of named KHANDA.Here live all casts except JAAT.Mostly peoples are of Bramen cast and with Bhardwaj Siptan surname.Pandit Lakhi Bhardwaj is the first sarpanch of this village who ruled 35 years continuously as a sarpanch. At that time there is no voting in election. Lakhi Bhardwaj was elected as a sarpanch by all villagers.But in these days here is a very tough politics in election.Edit below overview about Khanda
