Anapurgadh is a village in Dhanera taluka of Banaskantha district. Anapurgadh which is located at a distance of 25 kilometers from its taluka and 72 kilometers from its headquarters Banaskantha (Palanpur). Anapurgadh which is 25 kms from Dhanera bus station in the vicinity of the road, and also the nearest railway station at Dhanera, and the nearest international airport is 213 kms from Ahmedabad. The boundaries of Anapurgadh village are connected with the same villages of Dhanera taluka (Anapurchhota, Negala, Sabavadi, Dedha, Raviya, Nana Meda, Janali) and an inter-state border (Rajasthan). Anapurgadh which was formerly known as Gadhewala and now also known as Garh anapur. The population of the village is approximately 3500. There is GSRTC bus service from Dhanera to Anapurgadh at 7 am and 7 pm and there is bus service from Anapurgadh to Dhanera at 5 am and 5 pm. The fare is Rs. 30 From Dhanera to Anapurgadh car departs from 8 am to 5 pm and from Anapurgadh to Dhanera car departs from 8 am to 4 pm for which the fare is 30 rupees. Anapurgadh, Anapurgadh Government School Std. 1 to 8 which is located in the middle of the village and std. There are 1 to 4 government schools in SaMarwadia area of the village. Anapurgadh has a private school from Std. 9 to 12, Shri Kalayanand Vidyalaya, which also has a bus facility to bring children from nearby villages. There is also a government school facility for standard 11 and 12.There is a Shiva temple at a distance of 1.2 km from the village bus station and a magnificent temple of Wankal Mataji at a distance of 1 km from the Shiva temple. The village also has modern facilities like CC road, 4G network. etc The main street of the village which is known as Dhulawali sheri, Janali Sheri, Raviya Sheri, Dedha Sheri, Sabawadi Sheri. The area in the middle of the old village called Padar, the old village which is located at a distance of 1 km from the village bus station, can be reached through the main gate next to the bus station.All the population of the village lives on the farm and the main crops grown in the village are millet, wheat, groundnut, tobacco, mustard, castor, guar, etc. The main livelihood of the villagers is agriculture and animal husbandry. some people working in Government department like Education, Forest, Drugs. etc Some of the youth of the village are also working abroad like in UAE, Canada, Germany, USA etc.
