OverView of Mangrauli
Mangrauli is a small village and is better known as Tyagi community village though other communities like Brahmin, Muslims etc also stay here. Not much is known about the history of this village except that it's not a very old village and was primarily a Tyagi village when during the Aurengzeb time some tyagi's got converted to Muslims. The villagers are primarily farmers and sugarcane and wheat are the major crops grown here. As per the info from villagers, Hira singh Tyagi was one of the notable villagers around 35-40 years back and he was fondly known as Nambardar (non official revenue collector during British time). He was known for his compassion and his bravery and power. His family members are still known as Nambardar family. The village is very close to national capital but still doesn't have the basic infrastructure like roads, school or hospital. However, inspite of no school or college, the village has produced a chemistry lecturer, Ramesh Chandra who's is the son of late Nambardar Hira SIngh Tyagi . Ramesh Chandra is the only doctorate (PHD) produced by the village and in fact he could be amongst the only PHD in the entire Baghpat district. The village is full of sweet people who are willing to always share whatever little they have with them. To visit is village, you can take a bus or train from Delhi to baraut, change another bus from baraut to go to a place called Pusar or Barnawa. From pulsar or barnawa take a tonga or wait for a village bullock cart of any villager to give u a hitch on his bike or cycle. Don't forget to visit hira nambardar's gher( Chaupal) and meet the family of hira singh.Edit below overview about Mangrauli
